BEER QUEST

THE SHOW
Summon 4-6 of your most capable friends to aid Drinkledore in a quest to save his beloved friend, Sheila the dragon. Starting July 15th, those who are 21+ can indulge in this interdimensional realm, when Drinkledore’s 2D Pixel world collides with ours. So join the adventure - and make sure to bring both your thirst and your phone!
Beer Quest is an immersive and exploratory world filled with games, riddles and puzzles. Your party will find itself among many other groups in this open-world experience, where you’ll play, drink beer, and face a final boss - All right off of the mall on 16th and Welton. The event is outdoors, runs for 3 weekends, and is open Thursday-Sunday.
Should you accept the quest, you’ll be trained by four great champions.
Richard the Frothy
will prepare your fighting spirit in The Arena
Dread Pirate Bubbles
will spin the wheel of fate with you in the Menagerie
Professor Barleywine
will test your wisdom of Beer in the Brewniversity
The Thief Queen Ale-Izabeth
will hone your cunning in The Thieves Guild
The lands are filled to the rim with different local beer partners including Voodoo Ranger, Raices Brewing, and Weldwerks!
Every time you and your party complete a quest, you’ll level up and win or lose, there will be BEER! The in-world currency, Dragon scales can be used to purchase anything the land has to offer, from more awesome beer to epic in-game items.
If that isn't enough, your quest will end with the final boss fight - saving Sheila the Dragon - and perhaps land you a spot on the Beer Quest Leaderboard. Once the quest is complete, you can hang leisurely in our Champions Beer Garden - though your service may be different depending on the outcome of your journey.
So come forth and delve into the lore of this magical land and its wondrous habitants! We promise that your experience at Beer Quest will be as full as the belly you’ll be storing that beer in.

Bryan Connolly was born both whimsical and bloodthirsty. Naturally this dichotomy led to a career in the circus. It began by learning to juggle from Jon Wee of the Passing Zone, and quickly escalated to acrobatics, stunt work, acting, dance, and worst of all, street theatre. By the time he received his Bachelor’s degree for Theatre Performance from Colorado State University, there was no turning back. He was committed to a life of circus. He has now performed in a plethora of circus shows with companies such as Rainbow Militia, Circus Foundry, Cirque Dreams, even toured with a professional jousting company for a while, and is the second-in-command at Knights of the Tempest.
Despise him if you must, but he will continue to find occasion to bewilder audiences far and wide.

Kryssi Jeaux Miller has been attending Rainbow Militia Circus events from the beginning, and is thrilled to now be a part of this show! It is an honor to collaborate with a group of such creative and driven performers. Kryssi Jeaux Miller is the owner and captain of the Knights of the Tempest medieval equestrian performance troupe and competitive jousting team. From a young age, Kryssi has striven to combine her love of animal training with that of theatre. She spends the majority of her time training warhorses, hounds, and felines for performance, swordfighting, and shouting Shakespearian quotations during her fight choreography and stuntwork. Prior to being sucked into the glittering vortex that is the worlds of jousting and circus, Kryssi appeared in film and stage productions. She also spent 5 years performing as the lead singer in the rock band, Delphi LIVE, and now performs music as a solo artist. She attended Colorado State University, where she founded the CSU Jousting Club. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colorado State University with degrees in Theatre and Psychology. One of Kryssi's favorite roles to play is that of a public school teacher, teaching 8th-12th grade English and theatre. For more information on Kryssi and additional performances, please look her up at knightsofthetempest.com. Creative and empowering theatre is her jam. Thus here she is. To serve you that jam. With your beer.

Liz fell in love with aerial fabric at a traveling circus years ago, and once she took to the air, there was no turning back! Since discovering a wonderful aerial community in Colorado in 2008, she has been passionately studying, performing, teaching, and obsessing over silks, rope, lyra, and whatever weird apparatuses she can get her hands on. She was a finalist in the Aerial Fabric Acrobatics Festival in 2013, and over the past few years has performed with artists such as String Cheese Incident and Elephant Revival, and in productions such as Cirque Side of the Moon and the 1940’s ball. She’s passionate about sharing her love of aerial work, has taught in a variety of programs in Denver and Boulder over the years, and you can currently find her classes at Moth Contemporary Circus. In her spare time, Liz writes software and plots adventures with her favorite unicorn musician and their circus toddler Avi.
