Celestial Chaos
An Otherworldly Circus Adventure
Rainbow Militia and Prismajic are joining forces to create a four ring circus performance of otherworldly delight. Celestial Chaos will combine the talents and expertise of theatrical circus artists with the artistry and creativity of the immersive and visual arts to bring audiences into the clouds and beyond.
In a time of challenge and separation, you can help bring to life a magical production that provides connection, inspiration, and hope.
THE SHOW
Inspired by ancient Greek mythology, Celestial Chaos tells the story of three gods of balance who think they can do better than the creators of Earth. They have come together to create the “perfect” world, and this time they know they’ve got it (ok, so there have been 346 failed attempts so far). They’ve created two celestial beings whose decisions determine the fate of the planet, and have invited humans to join in the fun to see if the world is a success. They aren’t alone though, chaotic gods from earth have also decided to join in the fun in the hopes of adding a little “spice” to the lives of the beings. Will love conquer all? Or will chaos take over adding this world to the “scrapped” pile?

Bryan Connolly was born both whimsical and bloodthirsty. Naturally this dichotomy led to a career in the circus. It began by learning to juggle from Jon Wee of the Passing Zone, and quickly escalated to acrobatics, stunt work, acting, dance, and worst of all, street theatre. By the time he received his Bachelor’s degree for Theatre Performance from Colorado State University, there was no turning back. He was committed to a life of circus. He has now performed in a plethora of circus shows with companies such as Rainbow Militia, Circus Foundry, Cirque Dreams, even toured with a professional jousting company for a while, and is the second-in-command at Knights of the Tempest.
Despise him if you must, but he will continue to find occasion to bewilder audiences far and wide.

Cerene Shepard is a performer, production manager, and event coordinator. Born in New Orleans and raised in Salt Lake City, Cerene could never sit quietly...unless she was in a theater. The juxtaposition of the conservative state she grew up in, paired with her passion for live performance, fueled Cerene to become a professional who can understand any client's needs. She has nearly a decade of experience in weddings, live events, and immersive theater and has come to be recognized as a "go-to" Production Manager amongst Event Planners and Directors in Los Angeles.
As a performer, Cerene is an actor, clown, dancer, and character designer. She is a co-founder of LA-based clowning troupe, The Narrators, and has performed with companies such as Lucent Dossier Experience, Meow Wolf, Cirque Berzerk, Nova Han Productions, Electric Forest, Coachella Music Festival, Insomniac Events, and many more. In 2019 and 2020, Cerene was contracted as Lightning In A Bottle's Performance Art Coordinator. She coordinated up to 40 people and curated over 10 hours for programming for multiple stages.
In an age where "insta famous" is the trend, Cerene believes powerful entertainment lies within its roster, working with dedicated artists and building detailed, relatable moments within a production.
